Polyurethane Spray Rig
This trailer was built by professionals and is high quality. Built to make
money and show professionalism. Components are of industrial and commercial
quality. Rig was built August 2005. Can spray ˝ lb & 2 lb insulation foams and
3 lb roofing foam. All equipment in great condition. Very little use, about 17 sets of foam in all.
Trailer:
2005 HaulMark Trailer, 8’ wide & 32' long (24’ Floor space) Gooseneck, 7000lb
Tandem axles.
Interior height is 7’ (Makes for easy pump transfers). Rear barn doors (with
additional small hose door), 1-36" service door into work room, and 1-36"
service door to equipment room (separate generator and compressor room).
Window between equipment & work rooms. Trailer brakes on both axles. Trailer
is insulated. Work room has FRP board on walls and ceiling, and diamond plate
flooring. Equipment room is painted white. Heater/ AC Roof unit. Operable
skylights (1 in work room & 1 in equipment room). Equipment room is vented
through door vent and by power vent. Gooseneck has plenty of storage space. 2
work benches (1 with vise and grinder 6’ x 18” other 4’ x 18”). Mechanics
chest of drawers, industrial grade. Brackets for drums to carry 3 sets of
chemicals. 1 spare tire.
Generator:
2005 Cummins Diesel, 40kw, 240v, Three Phase, with DynaGen control panel in
main working room. Approximately 361 hours.
Proportioner:
Gusmer HV-20/35. Recirculation block system built into trailer to re-circulate
chems (mainly 1/2 pound foams). Needs new ISO recirculation hose. See below
for more info.
Compressor:
Horizontal, 35cfm @125PSI, on/off switch located in main working room, and
constant run feature. 3 pressure regulators throughout trailer.
Supply Pumps:
2:1 IPM Transfer pumps. Also an electric mixer to mix B-Side included.
Air Dryer:
Dri-Aire DA-35 refrigerated air dryer with auto drain. 35cfm.
Hose/Gun:
250' of 3/8” AmpLok hose (200’ wrapped with manufactures scuff jacket) with
10' heated whip, The gun is a GAP Pro with 02 & 03 chamber and coupling block
kit. Hose holder on wall with Recirculation block system.
Electrical System:
All equipment is on it’s own breaker. 6 shatter resistant torpedo lights with
fluorescent bulbs. Outlets are 110 volts single phase to run accessories (Job
site lights, Drum mixer, etc). Pigtail outlet for external power (will operate
2 outlets, lights, and heater/ac unit).
Fresh air:
Bullard Fresh Air Pump (will handle 3 full face masks), 3 Spectrum full face
masks, & 4-100’ hoses.
Other accessories:
Pneumatic saw to trim foam (includes 2- 36” blades), eyewash and first aid
kit, shelving (1 above each side of drums with hooks, and 4 inside side door
in work room), Craftsman retractable hose reel (50’ air hose), and a
literature holder.

The HV-20/35
Gusmer Corporation introduced its new HV-20/35 Hydraulic Vertical Driven
High Pressure Proportioner (AKA metering unit). Designed specifically for
polyurethane foam and polyurea coating applications, the HV-20/35 develops
pressures up to 3,000 psi at 20 pounds per minute and 2,000 psi at 25 pounds
per minute, to deliver greater kinetic energy at the spray gun mixing
chamber, resulting in a more thorough mixture of plural components for
greater durability of finished product.
Available with 6,000 or 9,000 Watt heaters, the HV-20/35 features the
highest heat output in the industry (according to Specialty Products
Incorporated, a leading supplier of polyurea systems) to reduce viscosity
and further enhance homogeneity of application.
The design is a hybrid of Gusmer's proven High Mass (FF-1600) design and
Direct Contact (H-20/35) design with improved heat transfer efficiency (or
Delta T). The heater also performs with very little temperature over-ramp
allowing for tighter control of process temperatures. Constructed without
o-rings, this truly leak-free design uses metallurgic science for accurate
control of system viscosities and process temperatures. |
